Alcohol Beve​r​age​ Licensing​ (ABL) W​orkshop​s

The FREE ABL Basics Workshop​ and Special Events Workshop are led​ by t​he​ SCDO​R’s ​Alc​oh​ol Beverage ​Licensing (ABL) team. 

ABL BASICS WORKSHOPS

This FREE workshop​, led by t​he​ SCDO​R’s ​Alc​oh​ol Beverage ​Licensing (ABL) team, is a great introduction to ABL laws for businesses​ planning to sell wine, beer, ​or liquo​r. We’ll cover licensing basics, including applications and renewals, special events,​ and compliance laws.​

Who should at​tend

This course is designed for anyone new to ABL regulations, including new business owners who plan to sell alcohol, current business owners who plan to start selling alcohol, or any retailers or restaurant owners who have questions about alcohol licensing.

Continuing Education Credits

ABL SPECIAL EVENTS WORKSHOP

This FREE workshop​, led by t​he​ SCDO​R’s ​Alc​oh​ol Beverage ​Licensing (ABL) team, covers the different special event applications and the requirements for each license type.

This course is designed for anyone who is in the catering or bartending business, nonprofits that hold fundraisers, promoters, or anyone who is planning to provide beer, wine, or liquor at an event.

Does your organization need a speaker to present on SCDOR-related topics? Would you like an SCDOR representative available to answer questions at your event? Contact the SCDOR Speakers Bureau! We’ll work with you to find an appropriate speaker or representative for your needs. SCDOR speakers are available for a variety of events, including career fairs, expos, association annual meetings, and county meetings. 

To make a request, complete our Speaker Reques​t ​Form​Please note that submitting the form does not guarantee an SCDOR speaker, but we will do our best to accommodate your request. Events requiring multiple speakers or lasting more than one consecutive hour are accepted on a case-by-case basis.
