1. Log in to MyDORWAY
2. On the Accounts tab find the Sales & Use Tax account that will need the refund
   
3. Select More Account Options
4. Select File a Claim for Refund (A claim for refund must be filed within three years of the original filing of the return.)
   

1. Log in to MyDORWAY
2. On the Accounts tab, find the Motor Fuel Tax account that will need the refund
   
3. Select More Account Options
4. Select the specific refund you are applying for in the Motor Fuel Refunds section
   

Some business tax returns on MyDORWAY may allow for you to request a refund on the return. You would need to review the return in this case.

For all other business taxes, please use the following steps:

1. Log in to MyDORWAY
2. Select the More tab
3. Under the Correspondence section select Send the SCDOR a Message
4. When sending your refund request, you must ensure that you provide any applicable information:
• Period covered
• Reason for the refund request
  

1. Requests for refunds would need to be in writing
   
2. Include all necessary documentation:
   
• Amended return
• Period covered
• Reason for the refund request
  
3. Send your refund request to the appropriate SCDOR tax office for your tax account (See our Tax Index for mailing addresses and contact information)
