The SCDOR has adopted the FTA Motor Fuel Uniformity Electronic Commerce Committee’s standard XML schema for Motor Fuel Supplier, Terminal Operator, and Transporter returns.
The following Motor Fuel return types can be developed and submitted using XML:
- Supplier and Permissive Supplier
- Terminal Operator (In-state and Out-of-state)
- Transporter (Carrier)
You’re required to complete the SCDOR’s testing process and receive certification before you release your software to South Carolina taxpayers. If you are a filer developing your own software product, you must complete the same application and testing process with the SCDOR.
- Complete the Software Developer Application - Motor Fuel XML (D-154).
- After your application has been approved and you have developed your software using the resources provided in the Software Developers Implementation Guide below, you are ready to test.
