The South Carolina Department of Revenue (SCDOR) is committed to providing equitable access to information, programs, and services for all members of the public. 

We are making every effort to ensure that our web content and mobile applications are accessible and usable, consistent with applicable state and federal accessibility standards and regulations.

Our commitment

SCDOR is taking ongoing steps to identify and remove barriers that may impede access to our digital services. Our efforts include: 

  • incorporating accessibility into design and development practices
  • conducting regular accessibility reviews
  • addressing issues identified through testing and user feedback 

Our goal is to provide effective communication and equal opportunity to participate in and benefit from SCDOR services offered online and through mobile applications. 

We aim to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 – Level AA standards. While we strive to make all website content accessible, some documents and PDFs may not yet meet current accessibility standards. 

Feedback & assistance

We recognize that accessibility is a continuing effort, and we welcome user feedback. If you encounter an inaccessible document or webpage, please email us at accessibility@dor.sc.gov. We will review all reports of accessibility issues and take appropriate steps to address them within a reasonable timeframe.

Request an accessible document 

Email us at accessibility@dor.sc.gov and include: 

  • the name, number, or description of the document you need 
  • your preferred alternative format (tagged PDF, Word document, large print, etc.) 
  • your preferred contact information so we can follow up

Report an issue 

Email us at accessibility@dor.sc.gov and include: 

  • the web address or screen where you experienced the issue
  • a description of the problem; include screenshots if possible 
  • the assistive technology or device/browser you were using
  • your preferred contact information so we can follow up

Our website and applications may link to other websites. While we do not control the accessibility of external websites, we welcome feedback regarding any barriers encountered.
