Sales XML Program

Beginning September 30, 2026 at 5 p.m., BSWA SecureNet will no longer be accessible.

All Sales XML uploads can be submitted on MyDORWAY starting October 2, 2026 at 10 a.m. To prepare for this upcoming change, review the updated Sales XML Taxpayer Guide (D-171).

You can use a third-party software to electronically file your Sales & Use Tax return through our Sales XML Program.

Returns supported by the Sales XML Program:

Sales and Use Tax (ST-3, ST-389)
Max Tax (ST-455, ST-389)
Accommodations Tax (ST-388, ST-3T, ST-389)

Developers that want to become a certified vendor

The process for becoming a new certified vendor in our state is temporarily suspended until January 2027. Please contact our office at XML@dor.sc.gov for additional information.
During this time, filers must use an existing certified developer listed above or file their returns manually on MyDORWAY, our free online tax portal.

File on MyDORWAY (beginning October 2, 2026)

Depending on your software provider, you may need to upload your XML file yourself on MyDORWAY. If so, request the right access by the following the steps below:

Log in to MyDORWAY.
Complete the Sales XML Filer Application.
1. Owner and Tax Account Manager access: the application link will be under the More tab, Other panel.
2. Third party access: the link is available under the More tab, Account Manager panel.
Once we have processed your completed application, the link to File an XML Sales Tax Return will be available immediately.

2. Third-party access: the link is available under the More tab, Account Manager panel.
Select the File an XML Sales Tax Return link to upload your XML Sales Tax Return file and receive an immediate confirmation number as your acknowledgement.
1. Tax Account Managers: you can upload multiple XML files, one at a time, if you have multiple clients or returns to file.

Sign up for MyDORWAY

If your software provider or preparer handles your return filings for you, we still encourage you to stay connected to your business by creating a MyDORWAY account. MyDORWAY is the SCDOR’s free online tax portal for South Carolina individuals, business owners, and tax account managers to:
Manage all of your tax accounts from one logon
See copies of notices, letters, and correspondence from the SCDOR
Make and schedule payments
Review your return or payment history and more!
