NOTE: Parties issuing subpoenas to the South Carolina Department of Revenue (SCDOR) are encouraged to upload their subpoena request electronically through the SCDOR Subpoena Records Center. However, please be advised that all subpoenas directed to the SCDOR or its Director/officers must comply with the service requirements of Rule 4 of the South Carolina Rules of Civil Procedure. For subpoenas submitted via the SCDOR Subpoena Records Center, the SCDOR Office of General Counsel may work with the issuing party to acknowledge acceptance of service as permitted under Rule 4(j), SCRCP.
