Manufacturers, promoters, organizations, or distributors of bingo cards are required to furnish bond in an amount approved by SCDOR to ensure faithful compliance with the regulations of SCDOR. If a license holder receives a large fine for a violation, the bond is used to ensure the fine can be paid.
Proof of a bond must be presented during the license application process. You can obtain a bond with an insurance company who offers surety bonds for bingo.
